Remembering Whitney Houston

I was very sad to hear that Whitney Houston has passed away. It sounds like she had been having problems days before her death. I have always loved and admired her talent and was sad when through the years things were unraveling for her. I plan to focus on what she gave to us and a good example is this link:

Alzheimer's Hope

My aunt stumbled across this on the internet. It sounds very hopeful. I am already using pure, organic coconut oil presently. I sure am interested in this benefit!

FREE HDTV

I was floored by the Mohu Leaf Antenna. I bought one, easily installed it and have free HDTV in our bedroom. I am attempting to reduce cable bills. Ours is presently $157 a month for cable, internet and TV. I am getting 22 HD channels in the bedroom for FREE from local TV Stations broadcasting around 10 to 13 miles away in Portland. I am thrilled. I plan to learn about the streaming of TV shows and movies now. We will still need internet, but I think we will be able to knock off around $60 a month in the cable TV portion.

You need a digital tuner either separate or built into your TV, best to have a new flat screen TV to take advantage of the HD your local channels are broadcasting. If they are if fact broadcasting in HD. Anyway, there are excellent reviews on Amazon. There are many happy customers with this "Made in America" product.
Happy Trails, you can find this on my page for bargains.

Prevent Alzheimer's Disease.

Yesterday I watched the Dr. Oz show on Alzheimer's Disease. A scary thought for many and I think us boomers are more afraid of memory loss than cancer! There is a new book out on prevention of this treacherous disease. I do take steps to prevent Alzheimer's. There is a lot a person can do. I recommend everyone take steps years before the normal age of onset to prevent it. The name of the book is The Alzheimer's Prevention Program: Keep Your Brain Healthy for the Rest of Your Life. You can find a link to it on my home page www.sheboomers.com

Here is a link to the Dr. Oz website discussing Alzheimer prevention.

Thank you for popping in

Tax time is here!

Good day!
I was going over my taxes from last year, I noticed a tax credit I hoped would be in force this year for working people. It was in effect in 2009 and 2010 but not in 2011. For some tax tips and advice:
